History
The idea to simplify damage calculations was pioneered in Germany in the early 60s and subsequently attracted the attention of the Swiss Re who integrated Audatex into the group.
Over the next three decades Audatex expanded to become a worldwide company, marketing and supporting claims management solutions in 20 countries through subsidiaries, partners and licensees.
Audatex South Africa was founded in 1984 with 2 staff members. The only product sold, was the Audatex Modelsheet.
Within the next years the amount of staff increased to 14.
The Audatex database covers over 97% of the South African vehicle population, which is continualy updated. The core Audatex products are the AudaPad and AudaStation.
